December 2010 Newsletter
We have some exciting news and also sad news, Nikki is having a baby, she is planning to go on maternity leave from Christmas Eve. Sadly she is moving out of the area. We wish her all the best for the new arrival and in her new home.
Exciting news ! Chloe is returning to pre-school part time from the week commencing 20th December. She will be in nursery 3 days a week.
Thank-you for the prompt return of your eco-cards and the interest you’ve shown. We hope you will enjoy sending them to family and friends.
We are preparing for all of our Christmas activities. During the month of December we have planned lots of exciting things to make and bake !
· Mince pies
· Sausage rolls
· Christmas cake
· Reindeer bread
· Christmas calendars
· Christmas biscuits
· Making reindeer antlers
· And lots more……………
Christmas opening times:
We close Friday 24th December 2010 at 4.00 pm and reopen Tuesday 4th January 2011 at 8.00 am.
Drive slowly past the nursery!!! Keep your speed to 10 mph!!
Provide your child with spare weather appropriate clothes.
If your child has any waterproof trouser, please bring them in. We use our outdoor areas in all weathers.
At the end of the day at story times, would parents/carers wait outside the room and a member of staff will send your child out to you, stories are always better without interruptions ! Thank you for this.
